I had a five dollar cable that fizzled after a year and I replaced them with one of these. The sound is very good though.

I've ordered a $10 cable that claims to be better for the 120HZ refresh rate my TV has. These twelve cent jobs are handy to give out to relatives who don't know their not getting HD or if you run a business with like a million HDTVs and you just want to keep your over-head low.
Theses cords are a nice back-up in case more expensive cords stop working. They work - but the picture doesn't capture contrast as well as a five dollar cable.
Nothing earth shattering, but the ten dollar cable has better clarity and color.
No matter what they tell you, this cable is just as good and deliveres a 1080p resolution picture just as fast as any other cable. For reals, don't waste your money on a monster cable at the retail store. I bought 6 of them.
I can't understand why anyone would pay store prices for these cables. The shipping could have been a little faster, but overall, I couldn't be happier with this purchase, or the price.
There are tests on the internet showing no difference in picture quality between this cable and a Monster cable as long as the length is not more than 2 meters. The cable works as designed and out puts 1080P/24fps content without any problem. For longer cables go with the most expensive you can afford.
I would never buy the expensive cables after using these cables. I feel like they are a steal.
